    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Create elegant and flexible HTML and CSS based webpages for a variety of internal and external web applications. Must be able to communicate with web/database programmers, lab technicians and managers to understand the functionality and data that needs to be displayed on each page. Occasionally you will be responsible for designing the page from scratch based on given or gathered requirements, you may also be required to recode the HTML and CSS for a completed web application. Many of the web applications will have separate header, footer and left/right navigation files, therefore being able to fit your code between other code is necessary. A coding test will be administered upon being interviewed.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Language requirements: HTML, CSS
    • Design requirements: Must be able to mimic the feel and style of an established website.
    • Browser requirements: Must be able to produce HTML and CSS code that produces identical results on all major browsers (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari) on Mac, Windows and Linux.
    • Coding requirements: All work must be hand-coded. We do not use any WYSIWYG programs such Dreamweaver or Fireworks.
    • Candidate must be eligible to work in the United States.

    TERMS

    This is a part-time position. About 2 to 3 hours of work per day are expected. You will be expected to work on-site between noon and 6pm.
