    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Postdoctoral researcher is sought to participate in a large scale effort to study comparative genomics of plants by using next generation sequencing technology to probe gene structures and expression patterns. This is a collaborative project among several New York area institutions.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • The successful applicant will have a background and interest in plant comparative genomics/genetics or evolutionary biology.
    • Applicants with a background in mathematics and statistics or bioinformatic analysis of next generation sequencing data and a strong interest in plant comparative genomics are also encouraged to apply.
