It is my pleasure to draw your attention to the upcoming 2nd Workshop on Tissue Imaging and Analysis, which takes place on June 25th to 26th 2010 in the BIOQUANT in Heidelberg. The workshop particularly addresses applications of tissue imaging with a focus on whole-slide scanning (virtual microscopy) for the quantitative analysis of tissues. Topics cover Biomarker Discovery, Tissue based Diagnostics, Technology Development, Education, Clinical Applications, Systems Biology of Tissues.

Scientific committee: N. Grabe, H. Dickhaus, R. Eils, and P. Schirmacher.

The conference will take place in the BIOQUANT Building, Im Neuenheimer Feld 267, D-69120 Heidelberg.
