RESPONSIBILITIES
A bioinformatics postdoc is available at the University of Georgia. Primary research focus is on correlation network analysis.
The Tsai lab (http://aspendb.uga.edu) is affiliated with the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources, the Department of Genetics, and the Institute of Bioinformatics.REQUIREMENTS
- Strong quantitative background is required.
- Experience with next-generation sequencing data analysis is a plus.
- Candidates should have a PhD degree in bioinformatics, computational biology or a related field, with proficiency in programming skills and languages as demonstrated by relevant publications.
- The candidate should be able to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with experimental biologists.
