We introduce the software package ProStack (Processing of Stacks) for processing and analysis of experimental images obtained from different types of microscopes. It implements various image processing methods as separate modules, that can be joined in a complex image processing scenario by use of a graphical user interface. The package includes tools for distributed processing and access to the image repositories such as Open Microscopy
