The Asia Pacific Bioinformatics Conference (APBC) series, founded in 2003, is an annual international forum for exploring research, development and applications of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology. The aim of the conference is to bring together researchers, professionals, and industrial practitioners from all over the world for interaction and exchange of knowledge and ideas in all areas of bioinformatics and computational biology.

APBC2011 invites high-quality original papers and posters on any topic related to Bioinformatics and Computational Biology. Accepted papers will be invited to be published in the journal BMC Bioinformatics.
