    BACKGROUND

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Daily Responsibilities: Successful candidate will work with a team of scientists and bioinformaticians to support the collection, analysis and validation of next generation sequence data with the SOLiD or Illumina/Solexa Platforms. This will involve data handling and monitoring of workflows, evaluating the results and collaboratively adjusting parameters of pipelines as needed.

    REQUIREMENTS:
    • Masters Degree
    • Skills: Strong molecular biology background, bioinformatics experience in next generation sequence data (SOLiD, Illumina/Solexa).
    • Proven experience one or more of python, PERL, Java, C/C++, or R.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
