Candidate will design and develop applications to support scientific research, will interact with internal users to establish application requirements, and be responsible for the design and implementation of portions of an enterprise-wide scientific data storage and laboratory automation system. The successful person will work closely with other skilled developers to insure standardization and integration across the entire data system. The candidate should have the ability to work in a team environment. Familiarity with Oracle and web based programming, preferably in .NET framework, will be essential.REQUIREMENTS
- BS or MS degree or equivalent in EE, CS, or other physical science or engineering area
- Minimum 3 years professional programming experience required and development expertise on a Windows/IIS platform.
PREFERENCES
- A scientific background is preferred
- Familiarity with VB6 is a plus.
