RESPONSIBILITIES
Working at the interface of biology, statistics and computing, the candidate will have the following responsibilities: to analyze high through-put gene expression microarray data in cancer genomics; the goal is to develop novel data-analysis algorithms and software and to identify genomic signatures in cancer patients and tumor-bearing mice.REQUIREMENTS
- PhD in bioinformatics, biostatistics, computer science or related fields
- Familiarity with molecular biology and genomics
- Strong programming skills (R, C++, Python)
- Proficiency in microarray software Bioconductor, dChip, and GenePattern
TERMS
2+ year position, contingent on satisfactory work; citizenship or permanent residency is not required.LOCALE
Boston, Massachusetts (Longwood Medical Area)COMPENSATION
