RESPONSIBILITIES

Job duties include but are not limited to the following:
  • Lead the development and communication of delivery system trend for all regions, products and lines of business Identify the key drivers of trend and work those issues back with the respective areas of the organization (e.g., contracting, profiling, etc.). Communicate these findings within the organization
  • Coordinate the key trend findings with the contract analysis area, actuarial department other impacted areas
  • Support the business analysis of select vendors and contracts as it relates to impacting trend
  • Coordinate any medical cost opportunities with appropriate members of the trend and medical cost analysis team

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5-10 years experience with a focus on trend analysis as well as knowledge of medical cost analysis and/or contract/vendor analysis
  • 5 years experience with health insurance and/or the health delivery system
  • 3 years experience as manager/supervisor
  • Capability to communicate detailed findings to varying audiences

PREFERENCES

  • Masters and/or other business/financial designations preferred (e.g., ASA, FSA, CPA)
  • Knowledge of product benefit designs and impact to trends
