    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop infrastructure (workflows, tools, databases, and applications) using open-source and custom developed applications to support genomics.
    • Automate and simplify the genomic analysis and data management lifecycle.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Candidate must have NextGen Sequencing experience.
    • Candidate must have 3-5 years experience in building application & implementing algorithm.
    • Bioinformatics Degree – Masters or PhD
    • Java – 3 Years
    • UNIX Shell Scripting – 3 years
    • Perl – 3 years
    • NextGen Sequencing experience – 6 months

    PREFERENCES

    • Galaxy (workflow tool) not required but highly desired - 1 year
    LOCALE: Minnesota

    TERMS: Duration: 12 months
