    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Responsible for leadership and strategy development for the Selective Integration and Procurement Processes function including: Selective Integration, Supplier Diversity, Supplier Strategy Council Processes, Training and Development, Reporting and Metrics, Policy and Procedures Development, and Procurement Operations functions. Manage directly the SI, SD, Process and Capabilities and Procurement Operations department leaders. Lead strategic development and implementation of programs and policies to insure CI for the GP function globally.

    Major Responsibilities Include:
    • Improve the organization's roles and influence, shifting operating costs and investment to strategic activities, maximizing the effectiveness and efficiency of transactional processes, planning for the best policies and solutions
    • Lead the development of the vision and strategy for the SI and Procurement Processes function globally
    • Provide strategic leadership for SI, SD, Category Management Process and Capabilities, Operations, Technology, Policy Development, Training and Development., Reporting and Metrics functions for Global Procurement
    • Develop processes and communication channels to ensure alignment of Procurement Operations with goals and objectives of GP leadership and key stakeholders
    • Drive CI initiatives, GP Operations and Processes function while driving a culture and talent change within the team as well as the overall org.
    • Drive the accountability for operational excellence. Provide updates to GP leadership team on operational performance, metrics and agreed goals
    • Responsible for strategic implementation of processes and procedures to address procurement systems, processes and capability gaps
    • Developing. the processes for managing and executing BMS strategic transactions including asset acquisitions and strategic alliances
    • Execute processes to increase the business value of the company's utilization of external partnerships
    • Lead and drive process improvements in anticipation of change and in order to increase overall functional efficiency
    • Identify and implement best practices process changes to drive simplification, standardization and productivity
    • Build the team through attracting, developing and retaining a diverse pool of talent within the Procurement Operations and Processes function
    • Lead external benchmarking and best practice processes to insure performance against objectives related to building. a world-class procurement organization. Leverage benchmark data for enabling technologies and procurement resources
    • Ensure compliance to all applicable practices, procedures, and regulatory requirements

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Education: Bachelor's degree with related experience a must. Masters in related discipline a plus.
    • Experience: Minimum 5-10 years of procurement experience. Ten years management experience in a global environment.
    • Proven track record of developing and implementing sourcing processes and procedures- specific leadership and management of Category Management processes, highly preferred
    • Financial and business management skills
    • Ability to successfully navigate and exert personal influence within a matrix organization
    • Ability to lead, develop and motivate a midsized team
