RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead Architect, SQL database, C#, .Net architect, AGILE development methodology. As a software architect he or she must excel at both working independently as well as in a team setting. Provide architecture vision, integration and problem solving on an enterprise level. Analyzing and solving problems are key components. Maintaining current knowledge of all technological advances is crucial. The candidate must be an excellent communicator, able to explain his work to colleagues who are not information technology professionals. The candidate should have hands-on experience coding in .Net framework interacting with SQL or Oracle database. The candidate would also monitor, review code, and supervise testing as part of this position.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5 years in an Architect role
- At least 8 years experience in SDLC specifically
- 10 years in OO design and development, UML, Design patterns and models
- .Net, C#, SCRUM, AGILE programming
- Lead software project teams technically and managerially
- Strong technical design, process management, process creation, service management
- Experience with security architecture and design
- Exposure to SOA, Messaging, SOAP, XML, UDDI, WSDL and RESTful services
- Enforce coding standards and best practices for both database and software layers
- Excellent communication and conceptual thinking skills
- Flexibility and openness to learning in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
PREFERENCES
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or related field
- At least 5 years experience in large designs and coordinating project teams
- At least 8 years of C# programming experience
- At least 3 years of UML experience
- At least 3 years of experience with software source control and version control
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be organized, have an eye for detail, and be able to put ideas into a tangible form
- Ability to prioritize and manage work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to develop new approaches to complex design problems
