    BACKGROUND

    Sapio Sciences, a leading Data Management, LIMS and ELN software company headquartered in Baltimore, MD is seeking a highly skilled professional for its professional services group. Sapio is experiencing tremendous growth due to its leading Exemplar LIMS product novel architecture and flexibility. This growth is creating demand from our customers for implementation and design services, hence this present opportunity.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    You will be involved in all aspects of consulting engagements and tasked with servicing and supporting Sapio's customers. This will involve direct interactions with our customers where you will be involved in understanding and implementing their specific needs. Eventually this role may also involve design as well as implementation of complete solutions using Exemplar LIMS.

    REQUIREMENTS

    A diverse set of skills is mandatory for this position, including all of the following:
    • Strong programming skills in the Java programming language with 3-5 years of programming experience.
    • Excellent English language communication and strong interpersonal skills as client interaction will be an important aspect of this position
    • A high level of attention to detail in all aspects of your work
    • Highly motivated and thoroughly enjoy programming instead of it just being your "career", such as coding or learning technologies for personal development not related to work.
    • A strong desire to learn is essential for every employee of our company including learning topics unrelated to programming, such as understanding the environment of our customers.
    • Bonus skills include experience with Java Swing or web based user interface development skills
    • Although we try to limit travel as much as possible, this position will require some travel

    TERMS

    This is a full time position with Sapio Sciences, Llc. US citizenship required.

    LOCALE

    This position reports to our development office in York, PA. York is centrally located and is commutable from all points in Maryland as well as central and eastern PA. For the right candidate, some relocation assistance may be offered.

    COMPENSATION

    Salary commensurate with experience plus medical benefits for highly a qualified candidate.
