    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Job duties include but are not limited to the following:
    • Analyze the effectiveness of clinical disease and care management programs and identify opportunities to improve outcomes and the value of BCBSFL's clinical programs
    • Support member identification and stratification for the various clinical programs
    • Support the integration of medical, behavior health and pharmacy data in order to identify ideas for new clinical programs and improved outcomes
    • Assist in the development and validation of new algorithms and output
    • Assist in training and development of staff

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
    • 4 or more years experience in financial analysis, medical cost analysis and/or statistical analysis
    • Experience using Microsoft Excel, general programming and/or statistical software
    • Experience with analysis that involves problem solving beyond data mining/report generation
    • Ability to communicate and present detailed business and financial information in a clear and concise way
    Job Specific Criteria:
    • Experience with SQL or SAS
    • Experience with detailed analysis and advanced capabilities in Microsoft Excel
    • Experience with clinical analysis
    • Experience in healthcare insurance or healthcare industry
    • Advanced degree, actuarial credentials or other related professional designations
