The lab of Dr. Marylyn Ritchie is seeking a Research Data Analyst (Biostatistician) to analyze extensive genetic data derived from multiple internal and external studies. The selected individual will interact with Investigators to determine and execute a data analysis plan for genetic data including genome wide association studies and next generation sequence data. They will be expected to contribute to clinical study design, protocols and study reports preparation; prepare statistical analysis plans; and perform statistical analyses, including generation of genetic study data summaries. This job will be filled as a level 2, level 3, or level 4, depending upon the successful candidate's education and experience.REQUIREMENTS
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience for a level 2. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher level jobs.
The successful candidate must accurately estimate time lines and resources needed to meet objectives, work closely with research informatics scientists on the development and testing of novel software, demonstrate a willingness to be hands-on and pro-active, be proficient in statistical programming environments such as SAS, R and SUDAAN, possess excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.TERMS
