    BACKGROUND

    St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, located in Memphis, Tennessee, is a premier center for research and treatment of potentially fatal childhood diseases, including cancer and certain blood, genetic, and immunodeficiency disorders. The hospital's mission is to advance cures, and means of prevention, for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. St. Jude is dedicated to providing unsurpassed patient care and to advancing the health of children through biomedical research.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Currently, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital has an opening for a Sr Database Analyst (Job Number 20858)

    The Sr Database Analyst provides decision support services by developing, implementing and managing databases and other decision making tools for the Pharmaceutical Services department. Improves business processes and supports department strategies to facilitate decision making in clinical research, financial management, medication safety, quality improvement, and other related areas. Works effectively with Pharmaceutical Services leadership and individuals outside the department to identify analytical needs to support decision making for both specific and ongoing projects. Performs advanced analysis of financial and clinical data and leads multiple decision support projects ensuring all requirements are met.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science or related field.
    • Master's degree in directly related field preferred.
    • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in related field with Bachelor's degree or a minimum of three (3) year of progressive experience with Master's degree in directly related field.
