Provide programming support for Scientific Applications for our leading client at their Biomedical Research Center. The following is a partial list of the responsibilities:- Participate in scientific application implementation project
- Create application prototypes in short cycles
- Provide bug fixes and enhancement to existing scientific applications
- Communication with the scientific and technical staff
- Provide appropriate documentation for software development and support.
B.S. in Biology, Chemistry, or Computer Science preferred- At least 5 years of programming experience in Java
- At least 3+ years web/front-end development
- * An understanding of object-oriented JavaScript, JSON, AJAX, JQuery and CSS
- * A thorough understanding of cross-browser/cross-platform web development
- Experience in Agile/Scrum development
- Keeping track of all the latest technologies and be able to apply/recommend as needed
- Good understanding and knowledge of Scientific Drug Discovery processes, Bioinformatics experience preferred
