    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Provide programming support for Scientific Applications for our leading client at their Biomedical Research Center. The following is a partial list of the responsibilities:
    • Participate in scientific application implementation project
    • Create application prototypes in short cycles
    • Provide bug fixes and enhancement to existing scientific applications
    • Communication with the scientific and technical staff
    • Provide appropriate documentation for software development and support.
    Qualifications:
    B.S. in Biology, Chemistry, or Computer Science preferred
    • At least 5 years of programming experience in Java
    o Experience in AJAX; including web programming/technologies, JSON, Hibernate, JBOSS; and Hudson (Jenkins) desired
    • At least 3+ years web/front-end development
    • * An understanding of object-oriented JavaScript, JSON, AJAX, JQuery and CSS
    • * A thorough understanding of cross-browser/cross-platform web development
    • Experience in Agile/Scrum development
    • Keeping track of all the latest technologies and be able to apply/recommend as needed
    • Good understanding and knowledge of Scientific Drug Discovery processes, Bioinformatics experience preferred
