    Opportunity: 1-2 Postdoc Positions - Protein Structure BIOINFORMATICS @ Purdue University--West Lafayette, IN (US)

    1-2 postdoctoral positions in the area of protein bioinformatics are available immediately in Professor Kihara's group at the Department of Biological Sciences in Purdue University.

    REQUIREMENTS

    The primary areas sought are protein tertiary structure modeling & prediction, protein docking prediction, and protein global/local shape comparison and search. Experience with 3D shape analysis in computer graphics or on low-resolution images produced by electron microscopy is a plus.

    Fluent programming skills and good communication skills are essential. Highly motivated and creative candidates with a strong record of publication are encouraged to apply.

    Qualified candidates should hold a PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Biology, Chemistry, Doctor of Engineering, or in a related field.
