RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform technical walkthroughs, code reviews and test plan reviews
• Manage the work of developer resources, mentoring and coaching as needed
• Provide programming direction to the development team
• Establish good programming practices within the team
• Collaborate with the business subject matter experts, business analysts, functional leads, architects and technical leads from other disciplines to come up with technical architecture & design to meet the assigned business requirements
• Hands-on development for critical product features.

REQUIREMENTS

• 6+ years experience in analysis & design
• 6+ years experience with Web based technologies including ASP.NET, Web Services, JQuery, XML, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, Oracle
• 5+ years experience with large and/or complex projects with participants from third party vendors. Must be able to collaborate with people who are skilled in many different areas, both in IS/IT and the business.
• Past experience should include:
• * working on electronic lab notebook projects in a technical lead role
• * Working in an environment where multiple inter-dependent projects are run in parallel
• Has expert level technical analysis, design and programming skills. Ability to create and deliver an integrated technical picture of the solution and articulate how all pieces of the solution come together.
• Has conceptual knowledge of varying technologies and the ability to make decisions based on that knowledge
• Experienced in working within Agile teams using methodologies like Scrum
• Excellent written documentation skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to quality and timely deliverables
• Pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience is a plus
