    In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain cardiac MRI analysis software involving 3D modeling, simulation, and image analysis. This software will be used to characterize the normal function of the heart and detect abnormalities through the analysis of SPAMM-tagged MR images. In addition, you will manage projects, interact with technical staff and students, and handle some system administration. Occasional travel may be required.

    To qualify, you must possess five years of industry or academic experience with a background in image processing, computer graphics, GUI design, and machine vision. The ability to program in C modeling and C++ and to utilize multiple computing skills in a Windows environment (WINNT/WIN2000/IRIX/LINUX) is essential along with excellent hardware/software troubleshooting skills; and experience with IDL, Mathlab, or code management tools (CVS, RCS). A Master's degree in computer science, engineering or related field is preferred.
