The position reports to the Director of Research Computing & Chief Technology Architect.

The Research Computing Core plans initially to develop innovative algorithms and analysis pipelines, to support genomic and connectomic studies of imprinting within parvalbumin (PV)-positive GABAergic interneurons. We aim to construct advanced tools for automated image segmentation of neurons, synapses, coupled with underlying genomic wide in-silico informatics analyses.

Our research lies at the very intersection of modern genomic analysis and neural imaging. Accordingly, we are looking for a talented individual to help both develop our algorithms and support the academic mission of the Conte Center.
