BACKGROUND
Social & Scientific Systems, Inc. (SSS), an employee-owned company dedicated to improving public health around the world, is seeking a Senior Web Developer.RESPONSIBILITIES
Experience with the Microsoft .Net 4 framework, in areas such as LINQ and AJAX, are required. Candidates should be familiar with the systems development life cycle (SDLC) and principals of software engineering. Duties and responsibilities of position would include developing, deploying, and maintaining web based applications, implementing rich user interfaces (AJAX, etc), architecting solutions, and mentoring more junior development staff. Secondary duties would include assisting project managers and senior management to develop system architecture recommendations for proposed client systems.REQUIREMENTS
- .NET Framework 3-4
- Web Services, , WPF, WCF, WSDL, SOAP
- HTML, XHTML, AJAX, XML, XSLT, and XSD
- Sql Server 2005/2008, database design and architecture, stored procedures, schemas
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, plus 6 - 8 years of related experience are required.
- Proven strong innovative and analytical ability with extensive implementation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Disciplined and strong planning and organization skills
- Must be a team player, and have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail, and a commitment to quality work
- Ability to balance work across multiple projects concurrently
- Enthusiasm for problem solving
