    My client company is looking for an exceptional individual to add to their
    Life Sciences team. This company is the leading provider of software and
    system technology which enables companies to utilize the idle resources of
    their existing computers.

    To become a part of this team you must meet or beat the following
    requirements.

    You must be a critical thinker and possess an ability to analyze and
    validate life science software on their distributed computing platform.

    You must be able to guide, implement and maintain additional improvements to
    the software.

    You must be able to work closely with the entire life sciences team and
    address issues that may come up with applications running on the distributed
    computing platform.

    You must have a proven ability to investigate, test, analyze and evaluate
    scientific computing infrastructure solutions for the genomic, proteomic and
    pharmaceutical customer companies.

    Must be able to support the sales and customer management groups in
    evaluating infrastructure architectural options.

    Generate requirements for application enabling tools.

    Provide training and on-going support to customer system administrators and
    end-users.

    Must have good organization and communication skills, initiative and enjoy
    working in a multidisciplinary team environment.

    At least five years of relevant experience participating in bioinformatic
    projects.

    Must be familiar with UNIX and at least one scientific programming language:
    C/C++, Fortran, Linux, Win32 as well as a database: Oracle, DN2.

    Must have experience with bioinformatics applications with BLAST.

    Must be willing to travel up to 25%.

    Must Education should include a PhD in Biology, Bioinformatics,
    Biochemistry, Computational Chemistry, or Computational Biology.
