RESPONSIBILITIES
The Evaluation Application Developer will be responsible for the Design and Development of an Evaluation Application Tool and data collection/analysis environment to aggregate information from various local and Internet databases. This information is to be used (a) for display of current resource utilization, (b) develop metrics using novel statistical approaches, and (c) preparation of documents to be submitted to funding agencies for grant applications and progress reports. Will also manage and expand the grid environment to generate metrics and perform other types of multivariate data, including genome-wide association studies. The overall responsibilities include providing user manuals, interactive help, and user training.REQUIREMENTS
Master's degree required. A minimum of five to seven years of experience in database design, web application development, and integration of shell scripts for transmission of data required. Must have basic knowledge in non-parametric statistics and extensive knowledge across a wide range of applications, languages, and operating systems, including Java/J2EE/Java Server Pages (JSP), XML/HTML, JDBC/ODBC, MS-Access/MySQL/Oracle, Apache Tomcat, Server/Client architecture, Windows/Linux, Eclipse, and BIRT/Actuate. Excellent written and oral communication skills necessary.LOCALE
