    Opportunity: Senior full-time faculty members (#FAC0000035) @ NC TraCS--Chapel Hill, NC (US)

    BACKGROUND

    The North Carolina Translational and Clinical Sciences (NC TraCS) Institute, in collaboration with departments in the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine as well as other schools/departments in the University's Health Affairs Division, are seeking to hire a senior full-time faculty members with familiarity and background in biomedical informatics. There is a strong need to advance the science of informatics and support multiple initiatives requiring sophisticated informatics solutions, including clinical and translational research and health care models.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Candidates must have an MD, MD/PhD, or PhD or equivalent degree
    • Candidates must have relevant experience in the design and implementation of information systems that support clinical quality improvement and/or clinical and translational research

    TERMS

    Appointment and faculty rank in an academic department will be determined by the applicant's qualifications and experience.
