Submitted by Raja Mazumder; posted on Saturday, September 22, 2012

The MS program in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology - Bioinformatics Track, is devoted exclusively to teaching important genome-wide approaches to medicine and biology, focuses on the areas of genomics, proteomics, analytical bioinformatics, statistics, systems biology, pharmaceutical oncology, algorithm development and Next-Generation sequencing data analysis and annotation. The program design provides flexibility for working professionals and options to choose between thesis and non-thesis tracks. Upon graduation, students are aptly prepared for academia/research or for careers in industry. Applications are accepted throughout the year. Scholarships and other financial aid available.
