    Job Description:
    Be part of a very successful pharmaceutical company taking their research efforts into practical usage by developing innovative products. Seeking a new Ph.D graduate with 2+ years experience in clinical trials related work that took place during their schooling. This work experience can be in either an industry or research setting. You will be part of a team that is involved in early development clinical trials. The work will include the design and analysis of clinical trials, liaison with project teams on statistical issues, and statistical representation in regulatory meetings. The position provides one the opportunity to gain valuable industry experience, to be part of the development of research into practical real world applications, and offers an environment with plenty of career growth opportunities.

    Requirements:
    Masters Degree in Biostatistics or Statistics with two plus years experience in the pharmaceutical industry or clinical research setting. Ph.D. in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related field is desired. Previous experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry with FDA and other regulatory agencies, and strong communication skills. Programming experience in statistical applications and the ability to work effectively in a global environment.

Dear Colleagues, I work as a Research Associate in the Department of Statistics of Faculty of Science of Ege University, Izmir, Turkey. I am also PhD student at the same Department. Starting with my thesis my research areas have been concentrated in the area of Biostatistics in general, and Application of survival analyses, ROC curve, Experimental Design in medicine in particular. This topic has gained more importance in recent years. On the other hand I have informed that you are working on some projects about biostatistics. This coincides very much with the field of my interest and therefore I believe that my cooperation in your projects will be highly benefical for me. To this end I would like to apply for participation to your projects and studies for a year. However my application can be realised only if I obtained a grant covering my expenses. We have considered that whether your institute can be a source for scholarship and therefore we are applying to you. I believe that if a chance is provided to me, I will conduct very successful research with utmost satisfaction of Turkish and your parties. In addition such an opportunity will lead to share of experiences between Turkish and your Academicians and also be useful for my academic career.
