    Job Title: SAS Validation Programmer

    Skills required:
    • 4+ years SAS programming.
    • Specific experience includes SAS/STAT, SAS/GRAPH, SAS/AF, Macros, PROC REPORT.
    • 2+ years SAS in pharmaceutical/clinical trials environment.
    • 1+ year UNIX operating system
    • 1+ year validation experience.
    • Understanding of GCP requirements & various acronyms.
    • FDA submission experience (BLA or NDA) would be preferred.
    • Therapeutic area experience (Oncology, Pulmonary, Cardiovascular) would be preferred.
    • Splus programming experience would be a BIG PLUS.
    • Strong organizational skills - detail oriented
    • Good spoken & written communication skills
    Job description: The Programmer will follow defined procedures to review and validate a SAS or Splus program or application. This will include:

    · Reviewing specifications and functional requirements
    · Writing test programs to reproduce results
    · Code review
    · Documentation review
    · Working with the original programmer to make any required changes and then revalidating the program.
    · Writing up results of validation and delivering signed documentation to the validation team manager.
    · A typical assignment would likely be for the validation of a related set of SAS/Splus programs for a specific clinical trial, and would run 2-3 weeks.

    The validation programmers will be working in a pool supporting the studies, so assignments could be nearly continuous. Ideally, we would want someone who could commit to at least 6 months.

    This is for a Client requirement for 3 months in Los Angeles ,CA .Apart from this Mascon is looking forward to hiring individuals with good SAS Clinical exp.for its clients requirements in the East as well as West Coast as full time employees with Benefits.
