• C/C++ Scientific Programmer:

    (Bioinformatics) MSD has continuing openings and is always seeking qualified scientific software programmers. Successful applicants will provide scientific computing support for national and international research and development projects in bioinformatics, genomics, and proteomics at the US National Institutes of Health. Our clients produce some of the largest and most rapidly growing repositories of public biomedical data and analysis tools in the world.

    TO QUALIFY,CANDIDATES MUST HAVE A COMPLETED MASTER?S or DOCTORATE IN A SCIENTIFIC FIELD (biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, etc.)You also need: · a minimum of 3 years of experience and advanced programming skills in C and/or C++, · a solid grounding in computer science fundamentals, and · familiarity with best practices in software engineering. Backgrounds in algorithm development and implementation, bioinformatics, and/or programming support of scientific research are highly desired. An applicant with a masters or doctorate in a field other than a specific scientific arena, and also has good work experience in one or more of the relevant areas above (bioinformatics, genomics, proteomics) may also be considered. Other desired skills include SQL and database programming.

I want to know what kind of job opportunities are there for individuls with software QA experience and 10 years of bio research experience in the field of Bioinformatics.
