The Liege Linux User Group (http://www.lilit.be) and some Liege University groups will organize conferences on bioinformatics in Liege (Belgium) in December 2002. We already have some local speakers. We are looking for other speakers from (nearly) around the world.

If you know someone interested in speaking about bioinformatics in general, bioinformatics and free software, about his/her bioinformatics project, please contact us. We have some finances to cover travel and stay expenses (but don't require first class flight ;-)). If we see some interest from speakers and from the public, this could become an annual conference (but let's see what the first one is going to be like).

The official program will be announced here too.

Thanks in advance for your help.
