One is the scientist which works with R&D department of drug companies and the other i.e. second is the programmer who will work in any of the software developing company for developing the software for the related field. I think this would have given u an idea about about how u are really gonna work in "real life"!!! After lot of searches and self analysis I have few suggestions which I would like to share with u. Before entering into this branch try to know your interest** and Eligiblity! TAKE THIS FEW POINTS FROM ME----> (1)Plz enter into this branch if any only if you are intersted in biology, being more specific "GENETICS !!!" YES, If you are not interested in GENETICS then...this is not the branch made for you. (2)For bioinformatics aspirer it is necessary to have a sofisticated knowledge of both, biology and computer science. If fullfil the above then... Eligiblity: One needs to be a 10+2(50% atleast) from science stream for B.Sc in Bio-informatics For M.Sc. --> Bachlears degree in life science or realted otherwise degree in computer science.Both with 55% atleast.Also 50% for few universities and colleges.
