Fellow Bioinformaticians beware there is a reason that this company has been desperately seeking to fill this position in a market that should favor the employer. The company has laid off 90% of their bioinformatics staff in the last 2 rounds of layoffs and few if any scientist's have enough remaining respect for CuraGen's corporate management (or non- management as is the real case) to stay. If you fill this position be forewarned that the job load will be heavy, your good work often thrown out in favor of management's next directional whim, and you probably will be back job seeking in short order as the company is quite unstable and upper management is a pool of nepotism.
