    Though this is not really news, I was astonished when I saw Sockeye's screenshots. They look really nice. I guess quite a few people working on sequence annotation could output their results as GFF and feed it into a Sockeye running on the user's computer, which would spare them writing a viewer themselves.

I m Vimla Paran.I am currently doing research on Bio-informatics. As u r a lecturer in Computer Science, u have many good choices. U can work on DNA micro arrays,scoring matrix,biochips , genechips, Genbank etc..
