    Electric Genetics is looking for two energetic individuals to immediately fill the following positions:

    Senior Bioinformatics Programmer
    • ----------------------------------
    Leading the continuing design and coding of an existing product you will also participate in development of new open source tools. Successful applicants will have at least 3 years experience in UNIX, OO, C++ and RDBMS as well as some CORBA and TCP/IP programming skills. Experience with DCOM, SOAP or XML-RPC; familiarity with biological algorithms or databases and/or participation in open source projects strengthens your application.

    Bioinformatics Programmer
    • ---------------------------
    Participating in project teams for both new and existing products, successful candidates will have at least 2 years UNIX programming experience and a keen desire to increase their skills. Must have >1 year C++|Java|Python coding (any Python is a plus), and 1 year RDBMS. Experience developing user or web interfaces is an advantage, as are any of the other skills listed in the senior position above.
