ITCOT also conducts events that prepare and facilitate enterprise to meet the challenges ahead, be competitive and improve profits. "Bioinformatics" The fusion of biology and computer science is the hottest of the hot in science right now, and it's going to heat up even more. Bioinformitician, also known as computational biologists, use computer modeling to predict which drugs will work on which ailment, saving the time and cost of getting new products to market. No wonder drug makers are salivating over these professionals, especially in the wake of human-genome mapping. Scientist, who works as a Bioinformitician at the San Diego Supercomputer Center, predicts that `there will be a 100 percent increase per year in the field for the next five years at least.' Even now a Bioinformitician with three to five years of experience can command $120,000. In the fiercely competitive world of Biotechnology and Pharmaceuticals, the need for increasingly complex and powerful computing solutions has never been so great. Because when all is said and done, the enterprise's ability to speed up drug discovery, improve manufacturing processes and realize supply chain efficiencies will largely hinge on the technologies you use to store, analyze, interpret and share the information that makes those things possible. Biotechinfobytes And IIAS International University offer MSc /M.S/M.Tech In Supercomputer Aided Biotechnology Courses Online Biotechinfobytes is planning to begin a regular online course in MSc/M.S/M.Tech and PGD in Supercomputer Aided Biotechnology (SUCAB) in collaboration with IIAS International University . Computational Biotechnology Science is an emerging discipline that brings computers and science together to a new frontier, with numerical method, symbolic computation, and graphic visualization playing key role in scientific investigation. The new subject merges the methodologies of theory and experiment in the field of science. Computational Science is interdisciplinary. It uses the technology of computer to study problems in biology, chemistry, mathematics, physics, and other applied or engineering fields. A computational scientist needs to be conversant in both the fundamentals of computer science and in the scientific field whose problems he wishes to solve. The rapid pace at which the computer technology is advancing necessitates and makes it timely for the training of a group of scientists who can fully exploit the capabilities of the hardware for basic and applied scientific work. Post Graduates in Supercomputer aided Computational Biotechnological Science will have a solid scientific background as well as the ability to handle complex problems in science and technology using advanced computer techniques and hardware. As the research and development capabilities of industries in India and Abroad develop and diversify in the new millennium, the demand for computational scientists is expected to grow and multiply. Bio-Icon Kiran Mazumdar shaw looked forwared at the industry creating a million jobs by 2010.And there is HR Challenge that Universities have to produce qualified and quality post graduates and Doctorates just in time Tailer made to the requirements of industry and that is the aim of SUCAB Centre.SUCAB Center participated in BIO-2004 and more than 3000 students enquired and expressed happiness about emerging new carreer opportunitees in supercomputer aided biotechnology. The Proposal is Prepared and implemented By Prof M.S.Yatnatti who is also Chief Executive Officer Biotechinfobytes with team of Scientists . Students can get further details by e-mailing to sucabuasb@yahoo.com.High-performance computing (HPC) is often an integral part of Computer Aided Drug Design. HPC systems are used in molecular modeling, drug-receptor interaction simulations, and in modeling the biochemical nature of macromolecular active sites with methods from computational chemistry. Effective R&D strategies in CADD are often coupled with a deep knowledge of HPC systems. We have coloborated UASB for Research Teaching and extention Welcome to University of Agricultural Sciences Bangalore. UASB was established four decades ago to meet the ever-growing needs of higher education in agriculture and allied sciences and Biotechinfobytes now its opening up its door to higher education beyond the conventional education systems which could not provide admission to all those who sought it. BTIB also meets the aspiration of those Rural & distance students & employees working in the industries who cannot enroll themselves for regular classes due to their peculiar circumstances. BTIB offers Biotechnology programmes Theory and practice Insilico at post-graduate level covering online Regular chat classes, Regular contact classes and counseling classes & practical on Computer Labs at Network of PG centers with Course material and CDs. Thousands of students will benefit from this course. This is integrated course integrating Biotechnology and Information technology Rather only covering Bioinformatics. A day is not very far that each student/researcher will have desktop or Lap Top on his/her desk either at college or home for study or work. A new type of scientist is emerging?one who is equally comfortable with the microscope and the computer terminal, and who knows how to integrate both in order to answer crucial health and genetic questions. Bioinformatics, SUCAB specialists, as they are called, represent one of the hottest career paths in science and industry. Higher education institutes are scrambling to meet the increasing demand for training these multi-disciplined professionals. The gap between what the industry needs and what the academia provides has always been a yawning one in India. But things are now beginning to change with universities aligning with the industry in an attempt to provide a readymade workforce. The field of Super computer aided Biotechnology is developing at a very fast pace due to inventions and innovations Many Grid and desktop applications are available. Universities want to create new breed of Biotechnologists who will be masters in computers and core Biotechnology rather then bifurcating Biotechnology and Bioinformatics in separate disciplines. Advancement of technology necessitates learning to remain a continuous process. To survive in this competitive world everyone is required to keep abreast with these changes. The existing conventional programmes are not adequate to meet the growing demands. Hi-Tech super computing Biotechnologies now will reach at affordable cost to rural and urban areas. This is where online Education steps in. Online Education has become complementary and even an alternative to conventional education, benefiting thousands of learners. It is flexible and can be pursued at a time and at a place of one?s own convenience. It has also removed several rigidities of the conventional educational system like place and pace, at the same time trying to ensure equity and quality. Requirement of trained manpower in the field of Bio Information Technology, within the country and outside, is growing at an amazing rate. Although India is training and providing considerable trained Bio-IT manpower, there is still a wide gap between demand and supply. To fill this gap, Biotechinfobytes will be launching programmes to provide state-of-the-art PG Diploma, and Masters Courses in Super Computer Aided Biotechnology. Unique course Core Biotechnology Embedded with information technology as Biologists are racing to embrace Information technology for their day today research in biotechnology. These courses are designed to take Biotech education; Computer aided Biotechnology to the very doorsteps of the people by removing all barriers. I am sure you would avail of these opportunities and take the best advantage of them. Biotechnology sector is plays an important role in the socio-economic development of the country in view of its potential contribution to national income, food security, social objectives and sustainable large export earning. The agriculture scenario in the Post Green Revolution era has changed Indian agriculture from subsistence farming to a commercial enterprise. Signing of World Trade agreement by India has exposed Indian farmers to global competition. This demands rapid modernization of Indian agriculture so that our agriculture produce meets not only national but international quality standards, is produced at internationally competitive price and is sustainable. This, therefore, calls for developing and imparting proper training to the students, which is possible only if trainers which are produced by the Agriculture Departments of State Agricultural and deemed universities are themselves properly educated in the advances in Super computer aided Biotechnology particularly at the Post Graduate level where they have not only to learn the recent advances in their subject but have also to be trained in the modern and latest techniques, software applications, databases using and operating super computers in their disciplines so that they can participate and contribute in the development and advancement of agriculture science in India. To face the future challenges, higher education in Agriculture and Allied Sciences, including Biotechnology has to be improved so that our graduates and postgraduates are comparable to the best in the world. Keeping this in view, the ICAR, which is vested with responsibilities of guiding and co-ordinating agricultural education in the country, took several steps to ensure quality education to meet the ever changing national and global scenario in agriculture and applied sciences. ICAR has approved in principle the supercomputer aided Biotechnology Programme at UASB. In order to maintain their market valuations, pharmaceutical companies need to dramatically increase the productivity of their R&D efforts. Although the decoding of the human genome has provided a wealth of new targets, it is now more important than ever to quickly identify the most promising targets and quickly weed out those that are most likely to fail in clinical trials-which means that researchers need more information early in the development process. Drug Science & Technology provides discovery teams with access to the tools and technologies they need to optimize their product pipelines and maximize productivity to bring new drugs to market faster. In view of this Biotechinfobytes has started providing solutions to industries and training the required manpower in association with several strategic partners. www.sucabcampus.com www.biotechinfobytes.com
