Dear Colleague,
This letter is to inform you of a significant post-genomics conference at the International Manchester Convention Centre, 1-3rd September 2004.
It is the second major conference hosted by the Consortium for Post-Genome Sciences and it focuses on "Genome to Systems" with a programme of 5 Plenary lectures, and 10 academic sessions, each with 4 excellent speakers.
Plenarys from......
Tom Blundell Cambridge
Ruedi Aebersold Institute for Systems Biology, Seattle
Stuart Kim Stanford
Denis Noble Oxford
Laszlo Barabasy, Notre Dame
Sessions on.....
High-Throughput Structural Biology
New Biosensor Technologies and Instrumental Platforms
Network and Systems Biology
Gene-Environment Interactions
High-Throughput Structural Genomics
Structural Genomics
Metabolomics
Informatics for Post-Genomic Integration
Quantitative Proteomics
Protein Dynamics and Post-Translational Modifications
Pharmacogenetics and Healthcare
We also have a major suppliers exhibition, a Technology Showcase and Technology ShopWindow sessions, to help evangelise the technology within the field.
The registration fee is LOW to make it accessible to researchers at all levels, but I expect that it would interest people mainly in Europe. We think it offers the an excellent opportunity to hear from major international authorities about the rapidly developing fields of post-genomic technology, its scientific applications and the move to system-wide overviews.
Full programme details can be found at <www.postgenomeconsortium.com>. The speaker lists are actively under review so keep checking the site for the latest situation......
Yours,
Andy Cossins
