Text2Knowledge has release the T2K Gene Tagger web tool. The current version will tag user's text file with gene tag. It also provide taxonomy information and sequence information (accession number). It can label gene names from more than 85,000 species!

Text2Knowledge (t2K) has released Gene Synonym Finder. The synonym finder is built upon a Gene Name database that contains more than 2,500,000 gene name/synonym entries. It also provide GenBank accession numbers and Taxonomy IDs to the given gene and synonyms. The T2K Gene Synonym Finder can be accessed at:

The acronym database contains more than 100,000 acronyms extracted automatically from medical text. Each acronym has a list of full names ranked by their occurance rate in MEDLINE. The user can also rate the entries to help improve the quality of the database. A web interface is also provided to search the database:
