M.Res Bioinformatics Student requires Dissertation Project

I am a M.Res Bioinformatics student studying at Glasgow University, Scotland, U.K.
As part of my course I am required to do a 15 week project which shoud start in June and run until the end of August 2002, which I would like to do in industry or academia.
Within the M.Res course I have covered Java programming, perl, HTML and Unix.
The biological strand of the course includes sections on sequence analysis, sequence evolution, genomic analysis and functional genomics, protein structure and prediction. Molecular graphics, using the Rasmol and Chime programs, proteomics, microarray technology and genetic algorithms.
My first degree was a Bsc. Hons in Genetics from Glasgow Universtiy.

Bioinformatics project

I am a graduate student in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry in the Universirty of Colombo, Sri Lanka.I am requested to write a bioinformatics software as a part of my graduate programme. I like to study sequence analysis or chromosome mapping and prefer to work in C++ The duration of the study will be six months and I will have to start it by the end of JULY/2004.
