Bioinformatics Benchmark System version 3 released
Submitted by Joe Landman; posted on Saturday, August 14, 2004 (1 comment)

Version 3 of the Bioinformatics Benchmark System (BBS v3) has been released. Many new features, bug fixes, and suggested changes have been made. New benchmarks have been added and updated for mpiBLAST, HMMer, NCBI BLAST, and others.

Benchmarks are described by XML documents. Output is via an XML document, which is manipulated by various tools for display, output, analysis, and submission.

Please see the BBS page for more details. We will open up the discussion list here in short order.
