    Software: gCut 1.1: new features
Submitted by amir chaouki; posted on Tuesday, February 22, 2011

gCut is a tool for restriction analysis in a DNA sequence. It will find the restriction sites of a given enzyme (tetra and hexa enzymes only) and perform the cut. It's written in Python, compatible with FASTA format sequences, and can analyse sequences of any size.

Example of tetra and hexa enzymes: EcoRI G/AATTC (hexa), HaeIII GG/CC (tetra)

    NEW FEATURES

In this version, we've added the fragment length functionality and a built-in sequence viewer.
