Research Interests: The area of bioinformatics relating to comparative and evolutionary genomics of fungi and other eukaryotes. 1)Eukaryotic genomics (esp., fungal genomes); 2) Molecular evolution (adaptive, phylogeny, gene duplication, etc.); 3) Bioinformatics (Matlab programming for data analysis of molecular biology and evolution); 4) Fungal genetics (Penicillium marneffei).
