Damian Counsell was a Bioinformatics Specialist at the MRC\'s Human Genome Mapping Project Resource Centre. He did Physiological Sciences at Oxford before working in the University as a Research Assistant. After an MSc in \"Physical Science and Engineering in Medicine" at Imperial College, London, he briefly worked in online scientific publishing, then did bioinformatics at the Institute of Cancer Research.
